Those dark outlines really stand against the light scribbles on the background. Plus the beast looks awesome as hell.

Excellent colors.

Although you call it a buckler, I see more of a coin. Either way it's capital ballin' as hell. Also the little face looks like the demon from that series of games here on Jewgrounds.

Capital Badass

Familiar Artstyle.

It looks a lot like the character design from Maximo, and some of the later Ghosts and Goblins games. Also you did a damn good job on the mouth.
